My name is Jake Wellever; I am a junior at Grand Valley State University majoring in animation and new media. I am creating this blog to fill a requirement of my Computer Image Making class with Professor Margo Greenlaw. The blog will showcase the graphic design projects I create in this class.

Before deciding to attend Grand Valley, I had some experience with animation. When I was in middle school, I did a lot of experimentation with stop-motion animation using clay and wire armatures. During high school I learned to use Flash to produce animated sequences. I have always been interested in art and artistically productive; this class and the others in my major are extending my knowledge of aesthetics, computer technology and design.
